In Week Three, Elderwoods campers dive deeply into the theme of Wood through thoughtful, hands-on craftsmanship. In Wood Prints & Crafts, campers work with foraged and reclaimed wood to create projects such as wood prints, DIY wall hangings, upcycled planters with plantings, and personalized walking sticks, exploring how natural materials can be transformed into both functional and artistic forms. In Woodworking, campers learn to safely use simple hand tools to shape and refine wood, working patiently and with intention. Over the week, each camper completes a small wooden piece, gaining confidence, focus, and the deep satisfaction of seeing a carefully made project come fully into being.
