Description

Week Two: Water — Flow, Rhythm, & Renewal (Elderwoods)


In Week Two, Elderwoods campers explore the theme of Water through collaboration, movement, and mindful making. In Cooperative Water Games, children work together through gentle, water-based challenges that emphasize rhythm, balance, and teamwork, using cups, sponges, and buckets to practice moving water with care and cooperation. In Plant-Based Crafts, campers explore natural dyeing as water carries color and creates gentle transformation, using plant materials and water baths to slowly dye wool or fabric while observing how color deepens and changes over time.
