Description

In this fiber arts camp we will explore ancient Japanese traditions such as shibori and silk painting. Campers will learn techniques for applying resist and colors to the silk. Silk is known for its quality of taking on dye beautifully and creating vibrant colors. Campers will gain confidence and skills in natural dyeing on silk and learn how to bring their ideas to life on fabric! Campers will come away with  a lovely piece of wearable art.
