Fairies & Gnomes: Guardians of the Garden

This whimsical Waldorf-inspired camp invites young adventurers to explore the magic of nature through hands-on, creative activities. Campers will embark on nature walks, observe the wonders of the outdoor world, and immerse themselves in crafting projects inspired by the wonderful forest around us. They will build and fill greenhouses using repurposed materials and design fairy and gnome houses around campus to welcome our wonderful garden helpers. This camp fosters a deep connection to the environment, encouraging imagination, teamwork, and environmental stewardship while nurturing the spirit of play and wonder.

Madelyn Bircher works in Early Childhood at Emerson Waldorf School. She is excited to share her love of nature, fairies, and crafting with the wonderful campers this summer!
