Explore, discover, and create delicious treats and appetizers from around the world! Campers will learn the art of sourdough bread making, Semla from Sweden, Rasa Malai from India, and good old southern pie, to name a few! From grinding wheat berries into freshly stone ground flour to powdering spices in a mortar & pestle, campers will get to use traditional tools and techniques that have a long culinary history in each culture. Let's get baking! Atula Sakhi has had a life-long passion for the arts. She had a career in the world of fashion before she began teaching art classes to children. Atula and her family moved to Chapel Hill in 2019 for friends and community. She previously served as art director for a local private school and currently teaches at The ArtsCenter in Carrboro, as well as leading art clubs at the Expedition School in Hillsborough.
