Participants must be 11 years and 11 months to 16 years old when the program starts.
A bicycle doesn’t seem like a simple machine, but with a few tricks and some common tools, you can fix and build your own! Join Waldorf bicycle enthusiast (and String Teacher) Elias ‘Mr. G’ Gross for a hands-on journey through basic bicycle mechanics. Students will learn how to strip a bicycle down to its component parts and build a working bicycle from the frame up. Students will learn how to use common bicycle tools safely and will learn how to diagnose common bicycle problems. Students will test out their new bikes on campus at the end of camp and can choose to keep or donate their finished project.
Please contact Emerson Waldorf School if you have any questions.
